We are about to embark on converting a disused warehouse into a residential dwelling. We love the industrial style but unfortunately the building itself does not contain many features apart from steel beams. As we will have to create the look, our dilemma is how far do we commit to achieving the industrial feel? ie: should we provide the basics (polished concrete floors, industrial lighting etc) but blend with luxurious furniture and high spec kitchen OR go the whole hog! Looking forward to your views on this! Denise
polished concrete floors, recycled brick walls, some reclaimed timber beams, oversized walls of industrial windows ... everything else luxury and high spec
I like the blend of both styles also. Unfortunately the building is not giving us much to play with, it's a big old concrete carbunkle but the space is great!
