Could someone please advise me of approx cost to have my brown kitchen (same as the one in the photo only more damaged) replaced by the same layout as the white photos but perhaps without the island, not pushed about it. The white one is the layout in a neighbour's house so it definitely will fit. I am looking for a light grey kitchen in a simple style no fancy carvings or embellishments on doors - just simple perhaps shaker style. Kitchen will be already stripped bare by us before new fitter arrive. What kind of money are we talking, obviously on a tight budget!! Wouldn't be doing this if kitchen wasn't so damaged. Thanks.

Happy to help ! I'm only a short swim away in England !! I think if you want a truly opulent cream for the kitchen cabinets - I'd suggest you get a colour match for the range ! It looks a very creamy cream ! Think it could be stunning ! Then have slightly lighter walls and tiles to keep the room feeling light and airy ! If you have walnut stain for your worktop on your island , I'd suggest using that on your exposed legs if you go for the dipped paint look on the table and chairs ! Are you having the classic CC shaped island ?!?

We've finally decided to change our dated kitchen and currently not using the space correctly. Both myself and my partner have been discussing ideas, layouts, colours, etc., over the past 2 weeks and we just seem to be going round in circles! We need a 3rd party to come and advise on the best layout for us. Should we get an external interior designer in to provide advice? Or will a kitchen company provide this to us? Should we visit showrooms to choose a design? We're clueless as to what steps to take to choosing the correct kitchen and layout, so would love to hear from anyone who has gone through this recently. Hi I'm planning a new kitchen as part of a refurb and need some advice on worktops. I have always had a laminate worktop in kitchens before and now have the chance to get a stone worktop which I have always thought would be the obvious choice given the opportunity. However, I've been told that they can be quite noisy with dishes etc, especially in a open plan which is what we will have. Also another person told me she wishes she'd gone with laminate because of you drop a dish on the quartz top it will surely break. ( I hadn't thought of this!) Anyone with experience of laminate and stone in an open plan space who can offer thoughts? Thanks in advance!

We are re vamping above room. Want to try & use most of the items. The hob & oven are coming out as we have bought a SMEG induction cooker black width 100cm. Floor tiles staying. Backsplash may cover with painted glass. Bay window wall one color ??
