Comments (12)http://houzz.com/photos/3642990 This link kind of demonstrates the use of mosaics and the mirror idea I thought may be cool. Obviously they are vertical but I think it would work either way. Any pics of your tiles? I have seen your other post and know your suite is 'traditional' but another thing to consider I guess is the cost of the mosaics. £££ using lots may mean a big dent in your budget....See MoreNeed help window placement & size & type glass
Comments (7)I feel in a situation like this, I would not add windows with no view that would probably end up with some type of coverings a great deal of the time. My situation would be use of mirrors to reflect available light back into room. Mirror could be styled to look like Windows etc. we have a similar situation in our kitchen, and we mirrored over the sink, and created two faux windows using mirror and drapery side pannels. The effect works great, and when you add the right lighting the effect is wonderful, day and night. Take a good look and visualize day and night views creating with mirrors designed into a "today" style and look....See MoreHelp! Need to order my upvc windows today
Comments (7)Thanks everyone. The company I am using does have a lighter grey option but I didnt much fancy it, looked like it was trying to look metal or something. I'm not a huge fan of white upvc, that's what we have at the moment. I'm sure the grey will be fine and chances are after some time of living with them I might not even notice what color they are - hopefully too busy looking at our views .... or the rain! I'm off now to our local golf club which I'm told has the exact grey I'm talking about in their new lounge area. Might give me an idea. Fingers x'd I'll get it right....See MoreAvril
