Cream Facade with rational windows.
Comments (3)I found your house in your ideabook area. Usually I do not like to cut a house in half with painted trim, but I love this house I found. The inner windows R painted white but I'd paint all windows, sills, trim & band across house, that enchanting French-gray-green. The house in photo seems more buff than cream. Comments (11)This might sound a bit like being on the fence given the advice you've had already... How about a mid to dark grey ( less contrast than black), RAL 7022 is a favourite of mine (warmer grey), or look at a green grey, as something that will have the colour of the olive, with a good amount of contrast against the white render, (you won't have the warm rich colours of the brickwork as in the photos above (which the olive looks good against)). If you are painting the timber windows you would do well to look at microporous opaque stains to reduce your on-going maintenance. A benefit of aluclad composite windows is colour outside can be factory supplied different to the interior finish. Hope this might help. Regards, Nick...See MoreAdvice on new window colours
Comments (2)I'm doing something very similar at the moment and I decided to go for a cold ivory colour with the windows divided into same size panels and a grey front door. The frames also have a foil finish that gives them a faux wood texture. I decided against the grey frames, as much as I love them, as I think they will probably date in the same way the pale green ones I see around have too....See MoreWindow colour decision help
Comments (0)Plan to have the current wood grain uPVC windows resprayed in a RAL colour to compliment the door and brickwork. Plan also to change the paint on the render, sills, etc later in the year so not worried about window colour tying into it. Door and frame are in an anthracite grey - closest would be ral 7016. Current thinking is go with a light grey colour such as ral 7035 or ral 7047. Or go with a more standard white/off white such as ral 9010.
