No choice: Natural light every time. Sunlight is essential for maintaining a healthy body and the production of vitamin D to prevent rickets. Its also worth noting that there are issues regarding environments where there is only artificial light (often found in long term living in bunkers or submarines) where the bodies circadian rhythm goes haywire (it can be mitigated with simulated nighttime lighting etc but it's not great)
