Yes, but... Color is only about 40% of the room's success. 60% is knowing how to use them. If you do the light on the walls, the mink as an accent and in pillows, light upholstery, gold for the furniture-- wood pieces sparingly, and orange in the pillows and accents, you'll be okay.

I think an orange/gray/white combo. could look good. The orange and gray will be pretty dark and intense on a large scale. Depending on the size of the space and the amount of natural light, you could consider backing them down to one shade lighter on the same color card.
