How about BM dove white on all the walls with a navy on the window wall,that wood give plenty of light in the room while using your favorite color.Lots of color goes well with navy ,kelly green ,lime green ...yellow ,orange,hot pink

Hi. I'm not that keen on the paper with the rest of the room, it doesn't look bad at all but it doesn't look stunning either imo. Everything else looks to be more of a greige? I'd look at the same paper in truffle, sable, dark linen or even the pewter may work ( hard to tell colours on screen so would get samples of all!). I agree with the others, would go for plain bed linen and add pattern in cushions and/ or throw. It looks as if a chalk pink would work best with the greige. Maybe a chalky white for the remaining furniture. You could also break up the window ŵall by adding a trim and maybe Pom poms to the bottom of the blind. A little antique gold for accessories, lights etc would also work well.

Thank you guys. I went to the carpet showroom today and the guy there was not very helpful. Just threw a few books at me. So I am none the wiser really. But there would not be as much selection here in Ireland as what you would have in the states. I won't give up though, I saw a few ones with speckles on it and they were nice but I think I will hold out for the pattern ones if I see them. Maybe what I want is not out there..... Wont see any dirt, only have to Hoover once a week, no foot marks and light in color ??

Glass went up today, now looking for tomato coloured waterproof cushions for the seating area...before 22nd July!...have two large planters, full of colour, that will be put up against the inside walls in the next few days, ( just waiting for final layer of sealant on the macrete)... and then fill up the plant space with nice summer bedding plants...so where will I get the cushions???
