Hi Nicola, Thanks for your interest! The TV is located on the wall opposite the fireplace. We did look at some options for putting the TV above the fireplace. But in the end, we opted for a dual focus room. All the best, Jennifer www.huestistucker.com
Thanks for that Jennifer. A bit unsure ourselves about where to situate the tv in our symmetrical sitting room (only at plans stage yet)! The style will be classic contemporary so not keen on above the fireplace. Fab room by the way...!!
Hi Nicola, Thanks so much for your comments! when we were doing our research for this project we found a lot of great examples of ways to "hide" the TV above the mantel, behind cabinetry or a mirror etc....I think the stonework in this particular room made it a little trickier to do something like that. Other options for you might be to put it behind the sofa opposite the window, or mount on a swivel bracket on the wall adjacent to your pocket doors. The best location depends on how many people will regularly be using this room to watch TV. If it's two, you have more flexibility. If it's a family of four...you might need to have it above the fireplace or on one of the walls opposite. Good Luck with your project, it looks like a great sitting room. All the best, Jennifer www.huestistucker.com
