Comments (1)If it's a drop underneath that's about 1m then perhaps a lowered seating area might be better for keeping you out of the wind ? If you have a gravel or stone floor in that section - and enough space - then a kadai fire bowl in the middle will keep you cosy too ? Look out for second hand boat cushions for weather proof seating. Or make your own using foam and oilcloth . Then add floki rugs or thick throws or sheep /deer/reindeer hides to sit on ... Comments (3)As you've got the Abbey Road sign, why not make it a music corner? Perhaps a Beatles inspired / Sixties monochrome scheme. You could get a musical notes design printed on an outdoor canvas for the wall, or a sail & hang over to create shade. Perhaps some instrument outlines on the wall. Planting could be black & white with pops of colour. A decorative white chair & outdoor rug would look inviting. Or you could even paint boards b&w stripes like the zebra crossing!...See MoreDo I need to clean my deck before sealing?

Do I need to use a deck cleaner or can I just lightly pressure wash the top before sealing?...See MoreOpen Space Dilemma in Living room area of extension!
