Square hall 2 small windows so not very bright what colour will I paint walls? Doors are French white

It’s a dark north facing bathroom and is a good size. In time, we will be knocking into it to accommodate an en-suite in one of the bedrooms. For the moment I’m looking for a wall colour. Wallpaper has been stripped off two walls and I need to cover the shocking pink! I was toying with dark green but when I put up a tester, it resembled frog spawn. I don’t want grey. Any ideas please?

Love your room, we have Farrow & Ball Mizzle, its a light greyish green with Little Green Clay Mid which is really a soft white with a tiny hint of grey on skirtings and doors. That would leave you free to go for a stronger colour on the back alcove walls without 'darking' the room much. The upper sample green on your wall should match well with these colours. Colour would be easily brought (and changed) in with rug, cushions etc, HTHs

Have just finished renovating a kitchen knock through and struggling with ideas on wall colour. Most of the cupboards are Pebble Grey (matt) and kitchen island is Kombu Green (matt). New space has French doors and a large window so loads of natural light in daytime. Worktops are Silestone Ethereal Glow.
