“I have several Fiona Higgins batiks in my home. The first one, which was a wedding gift, is a seascape of vibrant blues and greens crashing upon the cliffs. She has managed to create real movement within this piece, I can almost hear the waves! I also have a few smaller pieces but my absolute favourite is a beautiful batik of meadow sweet flowers among the ferns and heather which grow so copiously in Ireland. The rich, iridescent colours shine through this beautiful work of art and I would highly recommend Fiona's work as each of her batiks are unique and personal to me.”
