As we enter the fall the front 'Welcome garden' is still in flower. The garden is proving to be very low maintenance and requiring minimal watering. Next season I think the garden will be more established and require little to no hand watering.

This is truly a native central Oregon landscape. The home owner did not want to water any more that absolutely necessary. Here you can see a mix of colorful perennials that will bloom all summer.

A deck and patio lead from the log cabin to a fire ring above the bluff overlooking the lake. Carefully controlled edging to the lawn created order from the surroundings and emphasized the clients desire for off setting the rustic nature of the log home. Low maintenance plantings and a simple gravel pathway connect the gardens with the residence. This lodge style bungalow is located on a small lake on the Western side of Washington State. The owners of this property are hosting a wedding soon and needed some help getting the place in shape. They built this large pond by themselves and we helped them by doing the grading/seeding and landscaping around the pond. We also installed this amazing floating fountain, not only as a decorative piece, but also to aerate the pond.
