Introducing our Pablo Bay Modern Tropical garden ???
Lush plantings and mid-century inspired living spaces come together seamlessly to create a sophisticated yet laid back outdoor tropical oasis.

This remodel was needed in order to take a 1950's style concrete upper slab into the present day, making it a true indoor-outdoor living space, but still utilizing all of the Midcentury design aesthetics. In the 1990's someone tried to update the space by covering the concrete ledge with pavers, as well as a portion of the area that the current deck is over. Once all the pavers were removed, the black tile was placed over the old concrete ledge and then the deck was added on, to create additional usable sq footage.

The owners of this Annapolis home were looking to renovate a few main rooms throughout the house. In order to bring their vision into fruition, our team removed and reconstructed walls and installed new beams on the first floor to create an open concept living space. Now a built-in breakfast nook and remodeled kitchen with tons of natural light looks out to a swimming pool and patio designed for outdoor entertainment. Our team moved the laundry room from the first floor to the second floor and updated all bathrooms throughout the house.

With the angles of the home as our inspiration, we designed a patio space defined by two overlapping trapezoids with a curved outer edge. Separating the two main spaces is a cut out bed for tall ornamental grasses. The line of grasses also helps to screen the hot tub from the main section of the patio and the master bedroom on the home.

Located in San Rafael's sunny Dominican neighborhood, this East Coast-style brown shingle needed an infusion of color and pattern for a young family. Against the white walls in the combined entry and living room, we mixed mid-century silhouettes with bold blue, orange, lemon, and magenta shades. The living area segues to the dining room, which features an abstract graphic patterned wall covering. Across the way, a bright open kitchen allows for ample food prep and dining space. Outside we painted the poolhouse ombre teal. On the interior, we echoed the same fun colors of the home.

What a difference the new addition and patio make in the backyard of this 2 story mid-century home in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. The new patio we designed has spaces for dining, lounging and hanging out around the new fire bowl. A new grill island was included as part of the addition which was designed by Fein Design in Mequon, Wisconsin.
