This custom bar features all of the amenities of a commercial bar. The back wall includes two TVs, ample shelf space, multiple coolers, and a large window to view the pool area. The large windows fold open to allow access to the bar from the outside, bringing the outdoors - inside. Accent lighting make this an entertainment "hotspot".

To prepare the wall prior to installation of the custom shelving, we laminated it with a sheet of metal. This provided a beautiful backdrop and the high-end look the clients were hoping for. The shelving was installed with the purpose of displaying our client’s impressive Bourbon collection. LED backlights spotlight the displays, with tall, glass-front cabinets on each side for glassware storage. Stainless steel interiors and exteriors of the Perlick system provides the most sanitary surface to simplify cleaning. The Perlick system includes custom drink rails and drains for making drinks and protecting the counter, speed rails provide easy access to frequently used bottles, drain boards for glassware to the immediate left, a corner filler area dry storage cabinet, an under bar ice chest for easy access which minimizes the time to mix drinks, and a sink and food prep area. Whether your home bar ideas would be having the boys round to watch the big match in a pub-style atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon, ‘going uptown’ to sip an espresso martini in your home cocktail bar in the loft, or hoping to recreate the vibe of an intimate speakeasy in your basement, a style home bar is a treat that’s guaranteed to lift your spirits. A place where you are always guaranteed a seat.

How big should my home bar be?

The ideal style of your home bar will depend on your lifestyle and entertaining habits as well as the amount of available space. If big groups come round regularly then you should consider dedicating a part of your living room or basement to a larger seating area – complete with a bar table, bar stools and wet bar section – to keep everyone suitably comfortable and merry. If TV is essential, check if there is a wall nearby that’s a big enough to mount it on without restricting anyone’s view.
