The kitchen, located in the lower ground floor, was updated with bespoke cabinetry fitted around the chimney breast with a range cooker within the existing fireplace.

Basement Georgian kitchen with black limestone, yellow shaker cabinets and open and freestanding kitchen island. War and cherry marble, midcentury accents, leading onto a dining room.

Bold, bright and practical! This client wanted a kitchen that would stand up to heavy use. Would be easy to clean and be hardwearing. The result is this fantastic kitchen made from birch plywood with oak veneers and Sol formica fronts. These formica fronts are very hardwearing and will stand up to knocks and scratches that would ruin a painted kitchen. Perfect for this family and their 2 dogs!

Kitchen is the main hub of the family home, and even more so with a large kitchen island which creates a great social space for hosting.
The 2 tone kitchen is very modern and a lovely contrast. The full height quartz splash back adds that extra feature into a simple kitchen design.
Full height cabinets create additional storage and is a great way to make the room appear taller.

Bespoke Uncommon Projects plywood kitchen. Oak veneered ply carcasses, stainless steel worktops on the base units and Wolf, Sub-zero and Bora appliances. Island with built in wine fridge, pan and larder storage, topped with a bespoke cantilevered concrete worktop breakfast bar.

The walk-in pantry, conveniently situated next to the kitchen, is a sunny, inviting space, painted entirely in Little Greene Bassoon. This warm hue envelops the room, creating a cheerful atmosphere. The pantry is thoughtfully designed with open base units that lack bottom panels, providing the perfect space to tuck away wooden crates on wheels for easy access. Above, open shelves with charming corbels are ideal for baskets and mason jars filled with dry goods, combining practicality with rustic charm. A white quartz countertop adds a crisp contrast to the room’s earthy tones. Beneath the bottom shelf, a wooden pot rack with s-hooks offers additional storage, keeping the space organized and efficient. This delightful pantry is a standout feature in the home.

This bespoke panelled pantry was designed by Guild Anderson for a new building designed by the architect Ben Pentreath. Modern building methods can often leave a space feeling pin sharp and soulless, and our design team was commissioned to create a pantry which felt more appropriate in a period setting.
