Reclaimed wood lines the walls and counters of the kitchen and dark tones accent the different spaces of the apartment. Brick walls were exposed and the stair was stripped to its raw steel finish. This striking space blends modern, classic and industrial touches to create an eclectic and homely feel. The cabinets are a mixture of flat and panelled doors in grey tones, whilst the mobile island is in contrasting graphite and oak. There is a lot of flexible storage in the space with a multitude of drawers replacing wall cabinets, and all areas are clearly separated in to zones- including a dedicated space for storing all food, fresh, frozen and ambient. The home owner was not afraid to take risks, and the overall look is contemporary but timeless with a touch of fun thrown in!

We were lucky enough to be involved in a complete townhouse renovation in the centre of historic Warwick. This is the fabulous kitchen, hand-painted in Farrow and Ball's Cornforth White and Railings, featuring Caesarstone worktops in Organic White on the perimeter and oak on the island, a Sub-Zero fridge-freezer with larder storage and deep drawers either side, Fisher and Paykel DishDrawers, a Wolf range cooker with a Westin extractor, Kohler sink and Quooker tap with our signature draining loop and an antiqued-glass splash back running the lengths of the sink and cooker run. The double-hinged wall cupboards lift seamlessly to reveal extra storage.

The dark finishes of the kitchen required different lighting solutions to brighten up space. XAL - MOVE IT SYSTEM, magnetic profile LED system surface mounted with different insets gives flexibility and elegance to the loft-like kitchen plan and concept. The insets create a perfect combination between the floodlight on the countertop, an accent light on the fridge and oven and a wall washer light on the pantry cabinets. The island is lightened by pendants lamps, designed by COZI studio, an Israeli industrial designer's studio. The cabinet finish is made of matt Formica and iron expended net.
