Daisy Whittaker DesignsMy client wanted to be pushed away from their grey comfort zone. Soft sage and paneling help to create an inviting space and accentuate the arches of the ceiling. Warm wooden flooring adds natural textures to the space. Black brushed metal was used consistently throughout the hardware and lighting to add depth to the scheme and create focal points. Minimal styling helped to complete the design.
nimtim ArchitectsA bold and colourful transformation of a terraced house in South London’s Corbett Estate creating a bright and joyous home for our client, her two daughters and her dog. The works created a new family space at ground, a master bedroom suite at first floor and a new loft room.
The existing house was in poor condition however it had clearly been a well loved family home which we and our client recognised and valued. Our proposal therefore deliberately referenced colours and materials from the existing house and reinvented them as something appropriate for a contemporary family home. Rather than erasing the character and history of the house, we were able to continue the story of the house into its new incarnation.
Simpson & VoyleEnter a soothing sanctuary in the principal ensuite bathroom, where relaxation and serenity take center stage. Our design intention was to create a space that offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The minimalist aesthetic, characterized by clean lines and understated elegance, fosters a sense of calm and balance. Soft earthy tones and natural materials evoke a connection to nature, while the thoughtful placement of lighting enhances the ambiance and mood of the space. The spacious double vanity provides ample storage and functionality, while the oversized mirror reflects the beauty of the surroundings. With its thoughtful design and luxurious amenities, this principal ensuite bathroom is a retreat for the senses, offering a peaceful respite for body and mind.

Set in the beautiful Essex countryside in the sought after village of Writtle, Chelmsford, this project was focused on the developer’s own home within the development of a total of 6 new houses. With unobstructed views of the countryside, all properties were built to the highest standards in every respect and our mission was to create an effortless interior that reflected the quality and design workmanship throughout, together with contemporary detailing and luxury.
A soothing neutral palette throughout with tactile wall finishes, soft textures and layers, provided the backdrop to a calming interior scheme. The perfect mix of woven linens, flat velvets, bold accessories and soft colouring, is beautifully tailored to our clients needs and tastes, creating a calm, contemporary oasis that best suited the client’s lifestyle and requirements.

Our brief was to redesign the space to the rear of the house. We sited the pool, specified some gorgeous Italian pool tiling, re-shaped the decking adding in curves to what was a very ordinary rectangular deck.
Following on with the curves we added a sandstone paved area and within that a dining terrace with a chunky oak pergola to support pendant lighting over the new dining furniture.
We used a drought tolerant planting scheme with a mediterranean palette. The exception to this was the addition of Hydrangea panniculata for those beautiful big white flowers in the summer.
Rabbits were a big problem and plants were also selected with this in mind.
HUX LondonSettling here from overseas, the owners of this house in Primrose Hill chose the area for its quintessentially English architecture and bohemian feel. They loved the property’s original features and wanted their new home to be light and spacious, with plenty of storage and an eclectic British feel. As self-confessed ‘culture vultures’, the couple’s art collection formed the basis of their home’s colour palette. Originally set over four-storeys, the property was tall and narrow with boxy rooms, which made it feel dark and poky. Custom joinery was designed in a myriad of different styles for each room to house the family’s belongings. The ceiling height was increased to create a bright, open family kitchen-diner, which leads to a courtyard garden. There’s a fresh, energetic palette, with aqua-blue and white kitchen cabinetry complemented by fashionable ice cream shades in the dining area. A colourful bespoke rug and contemporary artwork provide the finishing touches. Custom-made cabinetry sits within an alcove housing children’s books, toys and a TV, while further storage is concealed beneath a smart upholstered banquette. In the master suite, a corridor of stylish soft pink panelling conceals floor-to-ceiling wardrobes and leads to a stunning antique mirrored doorway, behind which is a generous marble-clad en-suite bathroom.
eklektik studioWinnie the Pooh inspired wallpaper makes a great backdrop for this light and airy, shared bedroom in Clapham Common. Accessorised with subtle accents of pastel blues and pinks that run throughout the room, the entire scheme is a perfect blend of clashing patterns and ageless tradition.
Vintage chest of drawers was paired with an unassuming combination of clashing metallics and simple white bed frames. Bespoke blind and curtains add visual interest and combine an unusual mixture of stripes and dots. Complemented by Quentin Blake’s original drawings and Winnie The Pooh framed artwork, this beautifully appointed room is elegant yet far from dull, making this a perfect children’s bedroom.

Emil Eve ArchitectsA sensitive remodelling of a Victorian warehouse apartment in Clerkenwell. The design juxtaposes historic texture with contemporary interventions to create a rich and layered dwelling.
Our clients' brief was to reimagine the apartment as a warm, inviting home while retaining the industrial character of the building.
We responded by creating a series of contemporary interventions that are distinct from the existing building fabric. Each intervention contains a new domestic room: library, dressing room, bathroom, ensuite and pantry. These spaces are conceived as independent elements, lined with bespoke timber joinery and ceramic tiling to create a distinctive atmosphere and identity to each.
