The client brief was to create a cosy and atmospheric space, fit for evening entertaining, but bright enough to be enjoyed in the day. We achieved this by using a linen effect wallcovering which adds texture and interest. The large chaise sofa has been upholstered in a dark herringbone weave wool for practical reasons and also provides a contrast against the wall colour. A gallery wall behind the sofa has been framed by two bronze Porta Romana wall lights which provide soft, ambient lighting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The armchair and ottoman have been upholstered in the same fabric to tie the two seating zones together and a bespoke calacatta viola marble coffee table wraps around the ottoman, providing a flat surface for drinks. To give the room a focal point, we built a chimney breast with a gas letterbox fire and created a recess for the large screen television. Bespoke fitted cabinets with fluted doors either side of the chimney provides ample storage for media equipment and the oak shelves, complete with LED lighting display a collection of decorative objects. In between the shelves we fitted beautifully patinated antique mirror to give the illusion of space.

余白のある家 本計画は京都市左京区にある閑静な住宅街の一角にある敷地で既存の建物を取り壊し、新たに新築する計画。周囲は、低層の住宅が立ち並んでいる。既存の建物も同計画と同じ三階建て住宅で、既存の3階部分からは、周囲が開け開放感のある景色を楽しむことができる敷地となっていた。この開放的な景色を楽しみ暮らすことのできる住宅を希望されたため、三階部分にリビングスペースを設ける計画とした。敷地北面には、山々が開け、南面は、低層の住宅街の奥に夏は花火が見える風景となっている。その景色を切り取るかのような開口部を設け、窓際にﾍﾞﾝﾁをつくり外との空間を繋げている。北側の窓は、出窓としキッチンスペースの一部として使用できるように計画とした。キッチンやリビングスペースの一部が外と繋がり開放的で心地よい空間となっている。 また、今回のクライアントは、20代であり今後の家族構成は未定である、また、自宅でリモートワークを行うため、居住空間のどこにいても、心地よく仕事ができるスペースも確保する必要があった。このため、既存の住宅のように当初から個室をつくることはせずに、将来の暮らしにあわせ可変的に部屋をつくれるような余白がふんだんにある空間とした。1Ｆは土間空間となっており、2Ｆまでの吹き抜け空間いる。現状は、広場とした外部と繋がる土間空間となっており、友人やペット飼ったりと趣味として遊べ、リモートワークでゆったりした空間となった。将来的には個室をつくったりと暮らしに合わせさまざまに変化することができる計画となっている。敷地の条件や、クライアントの暮らしに合わせるように変化するできる建物はクライアントとともに成長しつづけ暮らしによりそう建物となった。

This family room space screams sophistication with the clean design and transitional look. The new 65” TV is now camouflaged behind the vertically installed black shiplap. New curtains and window shades soften the new space. Wall molding accents with wallpaper inside make for a subtle focal point. We also added a new ceiling molding feature for architectural details that will make most look up while lounging on the twin sofas. The kitchen was also not left out with the new backsplash, pendant / recessed lighting, as well as other new inclusions.

Ремонт гостиной комнаты площадью 15,6кв.м. в небольшой однокомнатной квартире осуществлялся в 2015 году в рамках телепроекта «Квадратный метр» в г.Кирове. Задача стояла создать удобное и стильное пространство для молодого человека обязательно предусмотрев гардероб (т.к. это будет единственное место в квартире для хранения), рабочее место и диван-кровать на котором хозяин будет спать и принимать гостей. На момент начала работы над проектом в комнате уже был частично начат ремонт и были поклеены весьма стандартные обои с городами, это подтолкнуло создать тематический интерьер тоже на тему города, но несколько в другой интерпретации
