Bentwood of HoustonThe natural walnut wood creates a gorgeous focal wall, while the high gloss acrylic finish on the island complements the veining in the thick natural stone countertops. The navy finished bar lends a nice pop of color in the space.
NukitchensWe designed this kitchen using Plain & Fancy custom cabinetry with natural walnut and white pain finishes. The extra large island includes the sink and marble countertops. The matching marble backsplash features hidden spice shelves behind a mobile layer of solid marble. The cabinet style and molding details were selected to feel true to a traditional home in Greenwich, CT. In the adjacent living room, the built-in white cabinetry showcases matching walnut backs to tie in with the kitchen. The pantry encompasses space for a bar and small desk area. The light blue laundry room has a magnetized hanger for hang-drying clothes and a folding station. Downstairs, the bar kitchen is designed in blue Ultracraft cabinetry and creates a space for drinks and entertaining by the pool table. This was a full-house project that touched on all aspects of the ways the homeowners live in the space.
The KitchenworksThis contemporary bar has a stunning curvature facade that gives off the perception of the design to be almost moving. It gives an energetic feeling to the space and adds verve to the interior. The curvy rounded shelves on the mirror parallel the facade making the design look symmetrical. The bar cabinets are comprised of an Italian Veneer Wood that is painted a retro electric blue. A very fun color to help spice up the space.

CHARLES STREET DESIGN, LLCWe gave this newly-built weekend home in New London, New Hampshire a colorful and contemporary interior style. The successful result of a partnership with Smart Architecture, Grace Hill Construction and Terri Wilcox Gardens, we translated the contemporary-style architecture into modern, yet comfortable interiors for a Massachusetts family. Creating a lake home designed for gatherings of extended family and friends that will produce wonderful memories for many years to come.
Everything HomeOur Carmel design-build studio was tasked with organizing our client’s basement and main floor to improve functionality and create spaces for entertaining.
In the basement, the goal was to include a simple dry bar, theater area, mingling or lounge area, playroom, and gym space with the vibe of a swanky lounge with a moody color scheme. In the large theater area, a U-shaped sectional with a sofa table and bar stools with a deep blue, gold, white, and wood theme create a sophisticated appeal. The addition of a perpendicular wall for the new bar created a nook for a long banquette. With a couple of elegant cocktail tables and chairs, it demarcates the lounge area. Sliding metal doors, chunky picture ledges, architectural accent walls, and artsy wall sconces add a pop of fun.
On the main floor, a unique feature fireplace creates architectural interest. The traditional painted surround was removed, and dark large format tile was added to the entire chase, as well as rustic iron brackets and wood mantel. The moldings behind the TV console create a dramatic dimensional feature, and a built-in bench along the back window adds extra seating and offers storage space to tuck away the toys. In the office, a beautiful feature wall was installed to balance the built-ins on the other side. The powder room also received a fun facelift, giving it character and glitz.

The Finishers Toronto Renovations LtdThis basement kitchen is given new life as a modern bar with quartz countertop, navy blue cabinet doors, satin brass edge pulls, a beverage fridge, pull out faucet with matte black finish. The backsplash is patterned 8x8 tiles with a walnut wood shelf. The space was painted matte white, the ceiling popcorn was scraped off, painted and installed with recessed lighting. Jennifer Stoner InteriorsThis was a unique nook off of the kitchen where we created a cozy wine bar. I encouraged the builder to extend the dividing wall to create space for this corner banquette for the owners to enjoy a glass of wine or their morning meal.
