Several people have asked the question and it hasn't been answered - what about the plumbing? Do you have a flexible hook up for sewage/grey water etc, or do you have a composting or casette loo arrangement. I have lived on a narrow boat, and the practicalities of maintaining services are always to the fore. When you can't just turn on a tap or flick a switch (or flush a loo) without thinking about whether you currently have the resources, and actually have to carry or empty your own water and generate your own electricity, you do become very curious about other peoples arrangements!

Dear little house though, and beautifully decorated.

What a little gem! Ingenious it is! I just looooove the bathroom and horse trough idea! Altogether a home to aspire to - small but huge on lifestyle and thoughtful upcycling. You have taken something old and has given it new life - in the words of Axel Vervoordt. Well done, Katie!

Thoroughly gorgeous. But American house style is often something I seek to emulate.
