Is this kitchen to minimum or just right ???
Comments (37)It looks very good James. Even though as you say it was a clients design build, it works fine. Once the Island has stools it will fill it out better. Has that naked look at the moment. The position of the wine rack might cause issues but overall it looks like a really clean and fresh kitchen. Plenty of natural light and the colours compliment each other. The extractor is a nice feature too. Everyone has different opinions as I see on here but if the client is happy with it then job done. Looks really well fitted too.....well done :)...See MoreNew kitchen
Comments (5)You should probably think of the floor covering in the overall plan as a light colour or dark colour may have an impact on whether you choose a light or dark colour for the worktop. Two different worktops, one on the island and one on the rest of the units might look well too. I like timber for an island but only if you don't need the worktop to be heat resistant and it's not near the sink. We've picked a dark grey for our island and will probably choose an off white worktop with a vein in it to contrast with it. Good luck with your decisions!...See Morewhich colour worktop would work with corn forth white kitchen cabinets
Comments (0)I am installing a new kitchen in corn forth white. I would like some advice on suitable colour for worktop and splash back. I was thinking of white silestone Lyra but am unsure if this is too bland. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated....See MoreNew build kitchen / dining too narrow ??
Comments (1)I am interested in a new build and one thing we would like is a second area to watch TV preferably in the kitchen dining area. We would also love a office space for working from home. This plan has caught our attention however we are worried the kitchen / dining area isn't wide enough to accommodate our wishes. Ideally we would like an island , kitchen table and then couch with TV. From the drawings I make out the width to be 3450 in kitchen area and gets slightly bigger maybe to 3650 in dining part. Would it all be too cramped ? I find things hard to visualise based off plans...See MoreCDR Design, LLC
