Hello- Thank you for your inquiry. We do not have the exact color but it was a gray stain applied to Alder Wood.

Hi, I'm looking for a recommended colour for my kitchen for a classy yet sophisticated look. It's also v important that it will be still quite bright (but not white) calming colour. I never thought of that. It's a small room, I'm going for wooden floors throughout the whole ground level to make it flow better. I haven't decided what type either! I love limed oak floors but I'm in Ireland where it's damp a lot, so something that doesn't show up the dirt.

I do love drainpipe grey but particularly love it with the contrast of white marble countertop and a white Belfast sink. With wooden countertops I love the blue greys and greys with a hint of green. Your kitchen is already looking gorgeous so maybe you'd prefer a lighter grey like Farrow and Ball French gray, lamp room gray or blue gray as the photos below. I think you can't go wrong with Farrow and Ball greys, we went for 'light gray' in our kitchen and we love it.
