Kitchen Cabinets Colour

Hi,

I'm looking for a recommended colour for my kitchen for a classy yet sophisticated look.

It's also v important that it will be still quite bright (but not white) calming colour.

My kitchen is South East facing and a lot of paints tend to look blue in it which is quite challenging.

I was thinking of F&B Elephants Breath but I'm open to more suggestions.

Why not simply fill the gap. A simply straight board like the kickboard at the base or bottom point where the cabinets meet the floor can be inserted. This can even be enhanced by using a cornice type finish and if you wish add a bit of colour to complement your kitchen . You would also choose to change colour of kickboard/plinth at the floor to keep a nice overall appearance. CJL

The colour would depend on lots of variants. Such as what’s on the floor? how much light is there? Do you have a splash back what’s the counter top? That said would you consider painting the island a feature colour? Such as ink blue or emerald green? It would make your island a feature. Good luck

Last piece of the puzzle is deciding on kitchen cabinet colour and I’m worried I’m going to make wrong decision. I’m going for light and bright but don’t want the kitchen to feel cold and clinical. I have light gray porcelain tiles, White Carrera Quartz worktop with light gray veining. Island will be navy or deep teal/gray. Does anyone have thoughts about Ammonite vs Cornforth White, both Farrow & Ball. Does Ammonite look chalky white? The look I’m going for is on 2nd photo. The kitchen only gets sun in the summer, it’s west facing.
