I’m going for wooden effect porcelain tiles in our new house, and they’re anti slip, but I wondered if anyone had these in a living area (will be in kitchen dining area and living room, hallway etc) and share their experiences? Thanks!
Only thing I would say is they are very cold underfoot so I would go for underfloor heating or a cosy rug underfoot if they are going in a living room.
We've supplied a few of these for living spaces and complete ground floor spaces and it looks beautiful. Most of our clients have opted to use it with underfloor heating systems as the above is correct - most hard floorings can get quite cold (which I guess is good for the summer but not so much in winter), however, porcelain is a great at heat retention so might be worth a look.
Have a browse through our Wood Inspired Flooring and Underfloor heating projects for inspiration and feel free to get in touch if we can help
