I am guessing a house like this would have a garage or shed to store bikes and outdoor furniture, etc
I purchased a house 5 years ago which had been a tiny 2 bed cottage and been extended over time to 3 times it’s original size to become a 5 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom family home. It had been well converted and decor was good.
However, storage wasn’t taken into account in the extension plans. The only linen cupboard wasn’t big enough to hold linen for all the bedrooms and was positioned in an inconvenient area of the house. None of the bathrooms had towel storage. We have slowly reconfigured it, incorporating built ins or furnishing each room to introduce storage so the house is more practical to live in.
You have a lovely spacious house so have lots of opportunities to make it into a smart and comfortable home.
