Please let me know what you would do here.... We have a large Master Bedroom with an en-suite which is really too small (ideally the en-suite would have a separate bath and shower). How could we use Bedroom 4 so that we can add on a dressing room to the Master suite too? Ideal solution would be with minimum structural work (removing walls) to keep costs down and avoid disruption to the house (as is over 140 yrs old). Thank you for any help.
I wonder why neither bathroom is accessible to the other bedrooms? Simplist solution is to move into bedroom 2, use bedroom 1 as dressing room, add shower to the storage corner of that bathroom. You still keep 3 bedrooms, just way less disruption / cost.
Hi - thanks. We’ve considered that but Bedroom 1 and the bathroom next to it are on a half landing level and there are about 8 stairs to climb to get from the drop of Bedroom 1 to Bedroom 2. So any join of these rooms would have to have another staircase added between rooms. Thank you for replying.
Close up the bedroom door for 4, knock through from the ensuite into 4 and have a through dressing room in the area of the ensuite then have 4 as the master ensuite with double sink/loo/bath/shower and make the most of the room.
