Hi Eliz,

Thanks for your question. The island is a found item that we repurposed. The balance of the cabinets were from designed and provided by Cary McLean of Designs4Living. We are building a new kitchen and need to decide on the order of cabinets. See the design attached. There is space on the wall behind the island for for: - Boiler (needs to stay in far left corner) - Fridge - Oven / Microwave - Pull-Out Larder The latest design has them in the order as above (left to right). We are building an extension to our house to include a larger kitchen and open plan dining and living room. In our kitchen we are having a large island (3.5 metres long). On the back wall we will have tall kitchen cabinets. We love the look of flat island units but prefer shaker style for the tall units. Can you mix styles? Would anyone like to share their opinions on this?
