New white shutters fitted after new windows. Shutter now appear cream/yellow. Expected/anticipated they would appear as white as the window frame but is this acceptable?
Apparently it’s energy efficient Pilkington K glass and it’s a common effect. Just feel it’s quite severe. Should have checked with the fitter, in my naivety I presumed glass is just glass. Had I known what the effect would be would have considered some other options. Just a bit gutting spending a lot on white shutters for them to look like this outside.
