Comments (36)I would also definitely go white if the windows are on the green wall. Will be much more natural to tie the accent wall with the stark wht contrasting walls. Always a very chic contemporary look. Also very relaxing as opposed to the treatments standing out when you already have your standout feature- the green accent wall. Great white bed you ordered! Then I love all the blue/green/ silver accent advice. I did a similar room in purples/greys/ whites and we used great posted prints of florals with a little oriental flair in nice big mats w frames. You could do florals or nice big botanicals in greens would be very fresh and modern!! White or silver frames or maybe even the shock of black would be cool....See MoreDesign ideas for a bungalow
Comments (10)If you are going to do this - make sure the bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space etc - don't scrimp ! Ideally every woman wants at least double the wardrobe space she already has !! And a walk-in wardrobe / dressing room is something that would earn any developer brownie points !! So if you have the space ... Use it well !! Breakfast areas in morning sunshine work well and evening sun in the lounge is good - inside outside fireplaces can work really well and everybody needs storage for summer /winter stuff (ski /scuba /suitcases etc ) so worth adding in storage somewhere accessible (like utility room ) for that sort of gear too ! This is an awesome opportunity for you ! Have fun !!!...See MoreNeed help with the bedroom
Comments (3)Your window is a main accent. And you need to make a start from its. I recommend you to do the follow: - open your window as much as possible. This will make the room larger; - decorate the window by asymmetrical or direct curtain (examples are below), starting right from the ceiling. It is best to use a solid color textile; - if your cabinet is not particularly necessary, I would have replaced it on the floor lamp; - on the other side, you can fold the high stack of books and use them as a decorative stand; - make a picture in passe-partout with glass and dark gray baguette frame. Add to it a vertical series of small monochrome photographs (eg sepia), and also complete passe-partout in pastel tones; - fur pillows should be replaced by textile pillows with dark gray graphic pattern; - it will be better the other pictures on the walls to remove...See MoreHelp with a boring bedroom
Comments (23)Adding width BEHIND THE BED - with a headboard (which doesn't have to be a "headboard"; it could be fabric, collection of mirrors, collection of pictures, a farm gate!, small chairs or stools) across the entire width. Matching bedside tables/bookcases/chests/ with LAMPS - useful storage for extra books, extra bedding, etc. CURTAINS always warm up a room. People will always feel colder away from home - provide an extra blanket or duvet to add to the bed. I notice there is no WARDROBE. Not really necessary for overnight guests (provide hooks on the back of the door) but useful for storing your out-of-season coats, etc. There is plenty of room behind the door. Buy one on eBay and paint it to suit your colour scheme....See Morecarocat24
