Hi everyone,
We’ve just had floors sanded and lacquered in a Victorian house.Four rooms (sitting room; master bedroom; child’s room and playroom of sorts) have had the fireplace removed but nothing done with the remaining space. In the bedrooms, we’ll probably put the bed over this but it will be visible in the other two rooms.
We’d like to still tidy the bedroom ones up and will need to do something (decorative?) in the other rooms. We could think about reinstalling the fireplace (for decoration only) or maybe tiling underneath. Budget is tight at this stage.
Any ideas or tips from others on this?
Orla
