Small bathroom - options?
Comments (5)Hello Orlac2, yes you could turn the bath round and have a smaller one.. Like a tubby.. You could also take out the bath and install a shower, have a wet room style with full tiling and back to wall sink and loo.. Could be a rather luxurious shower room.. but if the bath is required then why not look at getting a Tubby Torre by Albion. They have a whole range but this is a favourite.. It can be painted any colour you like.. I like the copper colour.. You get a really fantastic soak and it's a beautiful little tub! As well as a shower. : ))...See MoreOpen plan wood effect tile
Comments (9)Have you considered luxury vinyl planks? Waterproof, damp mop, easy to replace, and softer on your feet. I have tile in half of my house and wish I could replace it. It's hard on your feet, especially when you're standing for long periods of time in the kitchen. If it cracks, it's a pain to replace. You have to keep plenty of extra on hand for replacement because cracks are inevitable, either from something dropping on them or from settling. The flooring person I spoke with told me they're selling vinyl in even high end installations. He said they just installed 2300 square feet in a million dollar penthouse condo. Hope this helps!...See MoreKitchen splashback - how many lines of tile
Comments (19)The tile is very pretty. I don't know if it is just the colours showing up differently on screen but the light grey appears to be a different tone (more purple to me) than your tile. If you want a light grey I would take the tile to the store and try for a better match. The dark color ties in nicely to the tile and could be very dramatic and stunning if the room gets a lot of light....See MoreLooking for flooring suggestions to compliment my kitchen tile
Comments (0)We had a very nice porcelain tile laid in our kitchen. It looks like a distressed grey wood plank. We would like some suggestions as to what flooring we should use throughout the rest of the house. Carpet is not an option and the installer said that because of the way the current floor is installed, tile is really not an option either. The walls are light grey with purple accents. What do you feel would be the best look?...See MoreSarah U-S
