Are 350 mm depth wall cabinets too deep?

Hi, I am finally at the end of designing my kitchen but am looking for advice on the depth of the wall cabinets! The designer made them 350 mm deep instead of the usual 300 mm, with a cooker hood of 400 mm deep to accommodate the extractor fan I picked. My concern is that the depth of the wall before the window is only 400 mm so will the cooker hood stick out in the line of the window? Will it make the counter space and hob feel narrow when I am cooking? I can easily get a different size fan. Or am I worrying too much about two inches? Maybe all canopy hoods are 400 mm deep anyway? The cabinets are tall, 900 mm in height. Any advice appreciated, I got great help here before!
