Matching table & chairs?

Hi I just got new dining chairs,still waiting on two more to go with my 10yr old table. I didn’t want to go with oak chairs again but I’m not sure if this looks right? Should I paint the legs of the table maybe cream,stain them a darker colour or leave it alone?

I think the flatness of the cabinets and the prominent grain of oak don't necessarily work well given the disparity in color. I would suggest a warmer wood like walnut that has some tans and darks blended, and a softer grain that would work well with the cabinetry.

Its a new holiday house and dining area is between blue contemporary kitchen and sitting area on each side with 2 sets of double doors into the room and out to the patio at either end of table, It will usually be 4 people but we would like an extend to ten option for special occasions, Thanks, Aisling Q
