Hi
We could do with some help with lighting in our downstairs. The house was extended with a wrap around extension by a developer who didn’t consider how people live and what is required. It is a combination of low ceilings where you can’t have ceiling lights in the original house and higher in the new parts of the house.
The house has spotlights every where except the living area where there are hideous plaster wall lights but the whole of one wall has no lighting. Leaving us with no light down the length of half the room. We are waiting for lockdown to lift so our wall shelves can be built around the telly and remove the sideboard. We are looking for lighting suggestions for the shelves but also for the rest of the room to provide ambient and functional light.
Thanks for your suggestions in advance
