Floor lamp advice

Hello,
We just purchased this floor lamp for our living room. We were keen to bring in a element of yellow/ mustard into the room, which has a grey sofa, a blue snug and is otherwise quite plain/pine wood coloured.
Unsure on how it looks in terms of colour and size, we have quite low ceilings and no hallway (the staircase is in the room to the side of this photo).
Any advice appreciated! Thanks

Hi Farah - you can add more mustard through accessories, cushions, throws. Also I would add some artwork on the walls where there is a nod to mustard/yellow.

As an observation the room looks like it could do with side tables, plants and some styling pieces.

You could create an ensuite by borrowing space from the second bedroom, accessing it from the master. I would create one large luxury family bathroom by joining the current bathroom and the adjoining room into one. If you don't want to lose a room, you could swap the purpose of the two rooms, creating a medium sized bathroom and a small box room/study (expensive for some benefit). Lastly, if you really want to maintain the number of rooms but gain a bigger bathroom, you could move the family bathroom to the bottom, right-hand room, if plumbing allows. Hope this helps.

Hello Debbie, Why not give a company like Opopsi a call.. They may be able to print something bespoke for you.. They also do canvases or Mural type.. I have not used them as yet but I think they could help.. I would say no to borders and maybe consider a wallpaper idea.. I think they do that too! Maybe you could even consider a more bespoke arrangement rather than lots and lots of photo's some could be overlapped or semi transparent so you get the effect of double exposures but with different images.. So it's more creative than a tile effect.. .. : ))

Hi All, We are buying a new house which comes with a generic kitchen. We plan to upgrade and change colours, get a quartz countertop etc. We had our heart set on a light grey wood style floor. but my question is around what type of floor. We originally thought laminate throughout the whole downstairs, but then were put off as people were saying it was a bad idea for kitchens. Then we started thinking of wood effect tiling, but the idea of dirty grout kinda sways me away from that. Here's a rough photoshop of what we're thinking - disregard the wonky floor :) Any advice?

Lovely room with great potential. I agree with Rukmini that you need to add more yellow to the room as well as more accessories. Artwork (it doesn’t have to be expensive) will make the room feel more dressed. Etsy are great for affordable prints. Here’s some ideas
