I’m trying to draft a contract between myself and the builder who is taking on our project for a full refurb and extension work. Can anyone point me in the right direction to an example contract or if they can share something that’s worked for them, that would be very helpful.
The builder should be the one to give you a contract. It needs to outline what they are doing and what they are supplying for what price . The time line they intend to stick to . What responsibilities they will cover for you CDM etc . Where there offices or they are based. The name of who’s in charge . Your rights to cancel and how you cancel... are the important basics . Hope this helps !
