Hi there, First of all, what a lovely space - the floor tiles are a really gorgeous feature! With these windows, it really is up to you. Shutters are fantastic for creating a clean, uncluttered feel, while, as Colourhappy says, a Roman blind is a great way to add a luxurious feel. Both create a classic look that will never go out of style. Alternatively, as you say, curtains are a gorgeous choice. Floor length curtains would create a real sumptuous look, but you may want to consider how this might block your radiator, especially if you intend to open and close them regularly. Can anyone advise how to dress this window in a bedroom please. There is also another normal window in the same room which I would prefer to have curtains on. This window is a tilt and turn operating window which I'm told means I can't/shouldn't put a curtain pole on as this will stop the window from being opened. Advice with pictures appreciated. I'm at a loss.

Hi. I don't think a curtain/s in the middle will work as you'll have the radiator either side plus a potential issue with the poles? Why not try Romans (if they fit, as i can't see the inside of the window frame!) and a single curtain either side? Rather than use tiebacks so they're draped across the window just use a holdback similar to the pic so they're held back instead. This one obviously has a pelmet but you could add poles which just overhang the top of the window slightly

Yeah was thinking a larger mirror ....we have nothing done with the room yet. Afraid to ...in case I get it wrong. Was thinking of pulling the sofa out from the wall a little at an angle. Maybe wingback chair near fireplace...want to keep it kinda open and minimal....maybe console table to the left of the mantal ...or move the tele all together ..I dunno. The room isn't that narrow... Its about 12 feet wide at either side of the mantal
