Need advice for front door
Comments (15)Just wanted to add something regarding the steps since I had also asked for advice on them: we had steps installed in slate, but unfortunately they did not turn out to look very nice, so will need to get redone . Was wondering if we should also incorporate some of the bricks seen on the porch, perhaps as risers covered by blue limestone or slate just to tie everything together?...See Moreclassic bathroom - tiles or panelling?

Comments (0)We've done some wall panelling along the stairs and for some reason it doesn't work the way I planned it. It makes hallway look cluttered, and sort of "jump" right on you when you come in, as this is the first thing you see in the house (photos are taken from the entrance). It's not painted yet ( just primed), and probably will look slightly better when all painted the same colour, but still feels wrong. I wonder, is it because the squares are too small? Boards too thick? Should I leave wider space between vertical boards? Any ideas how to make it look better? All advices are highly appreciated. Thanks....See MoreProblem with Solar Panels?
Comments (0)So we're working on a project to install solar panels in our home. From talking with friends, not many of them actually have them installed in their homes. What do you think are the biggest obstacles to installing Solar Panels? P.S. I would be very happy to talk with anybody with solar panels already installed. Talking with some people about why they decided to install them and the benefits (or drawbacks) they've seen, would be hugely helpful. Looking forward to hearing from you!
