Comments (5)I like the concrete has a Mediterranean feel but would introduce some colour through pot plants. If you are creative add some colour using mosaic designs to a basic pot. Colouring the door black will draw more attention to the pathway. Paint the door in bright shades – spring or autumn colours....See MoreTiling Disaster
Comments (18)If the grout was supposed to be white but has come out grey then there is either an issue with the grout or this is as I described before. I certainly wouldn't use a grout pen until you have looked at cleaning the residue from it. If this is polymer residue then the grout pen would only stick to this so would probably wear off and become patchy. If there is an issue with the grout then you should speak to the manufacturer, this does happen on occasions and they will check it if they are a reputable company. Who was the grout manufacturer? Email Ceramica is the group of companies which Viva belongs to. So I suspect that this is the tile I mentioned. I know the tile as we sell it, the tile is very good quality. Speaking as a tiler with 18 years experience if the grout was grey and has come out white then it can only be the issues I have described. Cleaning should definitely be your first option....See MoreBest light gray for a small and very bright living room
Comments (1)Hi, I think any of those 3 could look good, with white elsewhere as a contrast and bringing in some bright warm colours with cushions, throws etc. We repainted our house last year and used Farrow and Ball colours - Elephants Breath is very popular and looks great in our living room, we used their darker greys in our sitting room and hall. You can get Dulux to mix FandB colours so it works out cheaper if you like. I was afraid of it being cold or dark but love it!...See MoreDrainage on concrete path
Comments (0)Hi i'm having serious drainage issues with the bottom of the garden ..there is a path sloped down to a big concert shed with absolutely no drainage ..as we have a dog we often need to hose the area down any time we do water pools down around entrance to the shed. im think of digging up part of the path and putting in a french drain type with stones and grate on top ..Would this make sense..The oil tank is on the bottom of that path too so id have to be careful of the piping ...Has anyone any better ideas ??...See Moredreamer
