But first impressions would be that it looks like you want a modern handleless design and therefore the J shape kitchen is too complicated for the design concept and the U shape with the island I would say the island is too small. Comments (0)I am planning on creating an island in my kitchen. Size will about 1200mm x 1200mm or 1200mm x 1oo0mm ( with a mini overhang). Ive been advised to put a mini spink in it but Im concerned it will be too small for a sink. Also main sink isn't too far away. Comments (5)Sink in island - bear in mind that it could look messy unless you are meticulous. Hob in island - can be social to chat to those seating while you cook. Perhaps think about induction.
