Advice on design for my new bedroom please!
I'm about to redecorate our master bedroom...there used to be built in wardrobes on the end wall. Now going to put our bed here....I have attached an image of our bed - however it's a darker grey than what's shown. I'm wanting to do the end wall in a feature wall but am stuck for ideas! The surrounding walls will be white, carpet will be grey, bedding is white. I will get 2 bedside drawers and have 2 beside lamps as shown below. I quite like navy too but not sure it goes with grey? Does anyone have any good ideas or suggestions for me? I'm looking for wallpaper but can't find anything that I think looks wow enough!!

Comments (9)If you are wanting to almost start over, I would paint in a soft blue or soft blue/green or soft green. These colors are restful, soothing and inviting. Wood floors will be great. I would get white bedding and maybe some colorful shams. White will work with anything else. Move the bed in the center of the wall. I would repaint the nightstand white and move it closer to the closet to be able to center the bed. Get another nightstand same height. Or get two new white taller night stands. You could get a small desk to go with the chair. Paint the chair white. Maybe window panels in a semi-sheer woven frint fabric. Place a dressing mirror on the back of the door. Comments (11)I would paint the room white and wall behind bed the same color pink that is in chair and then add prints above headboard and a large piece of art on wall on the right. Change pillows on chair and bed to modern and vibrant colors in grey/pink and yellow and add a coverlette to bottom. Purchase larger lamp for table on right and remove lamp from left side of bed and place a tray and some books on the ottoman. Move carpet to beside the bed. Comments (4)Hi Tatiana. As you haven't got an ideabook it would be great to have some idea on what styles and colours you like. The room looks lovely and bright, which way does it face? As the wardrobes are quite dominant I would go for something masculine in look but with feminine touches like the lamps, flowers, cushions, velvet, silk etc. so something along the lines of what I've pictured. If there isn't room for a sofa at the end of the bed I'd opt for a bed end stool. If you're not keen on 4 posters (although I might choose a simpler one) I'd consider a dark velvet bed with a feature ŵall or an oversized headboard. I'd also hang the curtain pole higher....See More
