These particular rock climbing holds were screwed into a solid concrete block wall. If your walls are timber studs with drywall, they would need to have "grounds fitted" to the existing studs. Alternatively you could fix the rock climbing holds to some plywood. This could then be fixed to your wall. The plywood would need to have grounds but it would be a lot less work to do this!
