Is it comfortable on bare feet? It will most likely be used in the shade, and I assume aluminum does not get too hot as long as there is no direct sunlight?
Margarido House: McNICHOLS® Bar Grating · More Info
Hi Paul! Thank you for your interest in McNICHOLS products. You are correct in thinking aluminum would not get as hot as other metal products. The grating used at the Margarido House was a standard spaced grating with an approximate 1” x 4” opening. This open area may be a bit too big for walking; however, our Architectural Design Consultant Team would be happy to further assist you with your inquiries. Please contact us at 1 (866) 754-5144, 5282 or sales@mcnichols.com. We are Inspired to Serve!
