How can I improve the curb appeal here.
Comments (5)Flowers in those flower boxes would be a good start, and then I'd tear out the conctrete or whatever the surface is next to the house and extend the driveway further out, closer to the camera, to make up for lost driveway space. The down spout must be removed from he driveway. The steps up to the house seem to be a confused assembly of different materials and should be reformed into a cohesive entry stairway, with plantings flanking it, or pots of greenery/flowers on it. The garage seems to be a different color from the house and if that is the came, I would change it echo the colors of the house. In the foreground of the photo is an opportunity for some beautiful landscaping. Comments (0)Hi we need major curb appeal help! We are able to change the siding, we can paint and change the eaves or gutters, the windows have to stay in place but we can change the style or add grills etc... The roof stays (Timberlane Shakewood color) and our door is going to be moved. We purchased a 6 lite craftsman door. It will go where there is an existing window and will face the driveway and street. We do a lot of gardening so we were thinking of a cottage or bungalow look. We like the look of cedar shake siding and we also think a pergola in the front would help break up the space but would love any drawings or advice to help us visualize a changed look....See MoreHelp with house facade
Comments (0)In a former life, our house was a shop on the ground floor. The red brick front was taken out to allow for the shop window and door. When the property was turned back into a house, the opening for the shop window/door was filled in with blocks and rendered. As much as we’d love to, we don’t have the budget to try restore it to its original red brick with oblong sash window so we’re looking for some ideas on how best to smarten up the look of the house front and give it s bit of curb appeal. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance....See More- 10 years ago
