Hello! Can anyone help me - I have pulled up the carpets in my new flat and have these boards underneath which I love. However the old carpet is stuck to it and I don’t know what to use to get it off. Can anyone recommend how to get them clean without damaging the boards?
We would suggest to use a solvent such as isopropanol or acetone to remove the glue although this may also damaged to finish on the wood floor and maybe the wood itself. The best finish can only be achieved by sanding and refinishing. Good luck with your project!
