Color of fabric on Chaise

I know you don't have info on the fabric itself, but could you share the color you used on the chaise? It looks like a seafoam green on my monitor.

Is the chandelier thing seeming a bit small for the room or is it just me? Given that your walls are plain, the sofa is plain how about a patterned rug? Do you like Persian rugs? I find that dark green wainscotting too heavy and would paint it a lighter color. Given you have just moved in I assume you are planning to be there a while. If you like traditional style do you want a fairly safe color scheme re walls and curtains, keeping future resale in mind. Or are u happy to decorate according to your tastes? The mirror seems a bit small to me.

They look perfect together. Maybe add a small scale white with purple polka dots for a third accent. I love the Olive green in there also. I am assuming the mink color sofa is a beige/ tan? I think a purple accent wall will look stunning with the neutrals you have picked and the fun fabrics. Things to consider when mixing patterns: from http://decoratingfiles.com/2013/05/mixing-patterns/ . Use a minimum of 3 different patterns varying the scale by using small, medium and large patterns. . Use 60% of your favorite pattern, 30% of a second pattern, and 10% of a third pattern as an accent. . The second pattern should be half the scale of the first one and have at least two colors in common with it. If you went with a floral on the first pattern, this one could be a stripe or geometric. You picked a perfect stripe! . The colors of the third pattern should compliment the first two and be the smallest in scale. .The color intensity should be the same for all patterns. For example, don’t mix pastel patterns with jewel tone patterns. Post more picks as you go! :D

Thanks Hayley. I have a mahogany-surround fireplace and another two seater tan sofa on the opposite side of the room. The sofa in the picture is huge and seats about 8 people. It takes up a lot of the room and the colour dominates the room. I suppose I'm looking for something to brighten the room, but name it feel cosy at the same time

Hi all, my living area is 630cm by 374cm. I’m going for a 2.5 Seater Sofa opposite to the tv. And on the shorter side I’m planning to put a chaise. So my 2.5 Seater Sofa would be in grey velvet and I’m confused as to which colour I should go for the chaise. Can I put a burnt yellow or pink blush velvet ? Or shall I put the same grey or light blue ? The other shorter side of the wall has huge windows which leads to the lawn so I can put an arm chair which has floral prints. Please help me decide.
