Need help picking backsplash tiles and wall paint colours

I have recently renovated my kitchen with IKEA Applad cabinets, IKEA dark walnut worktop and stainless steel appliances. I have 'smoked oak' wood laminate flooring. My kitchen is part of a large kitchen/dining/family room as the attached images show.
Basically, I'm looking for idea regarding tiles for my backsplash and for wall colour throughout the room. Thanks!

Comments (2)Hi there! We think a white grout is probably your best option here, if you don't want it to look too busy. This is one of our hexagon mosaic tile displays we have in the TileStyle showroom and we have used white grout for this. As you can see, the shape of the tile is still very much visible but it's still a more subtle look that's not too busy. 13 years agoWhat about tiling the whole stove wall, the window wall to the top of the window and the little counter backsplash. It would be stunning. Paint little bit of wall on top. Could go bold red to pull from other rooms or a tan or cream.

PRO13 years agoI like your colors in living room and dinning area,your counter top give s you that fine look of modern transitional look,I would say if you choose any glass or blend color for your backsplash then you get that emphasize from your counter and your cabinet,you have green ton if I was you i would go more toward white ,I did for my client just one wall backsplash and the rest pain and it turn really nice or on you case,i REALLY LIKE THE FINE LINE OF YOUR KITCHEN,
