Patterned floor tile

Hello, can you give me any information on the patterned floor tile used in the bathroom? Ideally brand name or where it was purchased? Is it concrete or ceramic? Thank you in advance!

Dear mdnew - Yes, I love this tile! Good eye. Best news is that it's not concrete tile but, instead, is a full body porcelain tile. It's large scale, no care, hearty, easy to work with and a ridiculously low price. The cool lasered pattern seems random and very hand done, almost a tapestry mode. Comes in 2 different colors and has a field tile which doesn't have the etched pattern but, instead, has a random subtle aggregate look. This tile series is highly unique, yet classic - a very rare combination. As a professional designer, I can't recommend highly enough and have used several times. When we brought our house it had parquet in the kitchen, Before weIt has made had an opportunity to seal it our dishwasher flooded & they poped up. I recommend that u carefully research using it in a wet area before committing to it.

I am back again. I decided against the tile originally proposed as the advice here was totally right, the tile had a strong pink/salmon tone. Thanks so much to everyone. I have been searching again and attached is what I am now thinking of going for. I think this tile is very neutral, should match a lot of colours, is warm and easy to keep. It should also match a modern kitchen. Opinions please!!!

We have the wood look tile in our bathrooms, with under floor heat. I think they look nice and work great for the bathrooms. However, for your whole house you might want to think about the fact that they won't have the soft/warm feeling of real wood. They will sound like tile when people walk on them (loud footsteps when shoes are on), they are hard like tile, they are cold like tile (when the heat is off) and they will be echo-ey like tile.

I assume you meant "floor". Tiles are usually considered the safer option in areas that have potential for spills or floods. Do you have heavy traffic (shoes worn in house, animals, children, etc) in these areas? If so, then you will have to worry about scratches in the wood and the occasional sanding/refinishing of the floor. You will definitely want the underfloor heating if you live in an area that gets cold. It is a personal choice, as I put wood in my kitchen/sitting room, because I love the warm look and feel of wood. However, I constantly worry about the scratches from the chairs and stools. We don't wear shoes in the house, nor do we have any animals, but I have had to put felt pads on all of the legs of the furniture.
