Master closet dilemma

My home is a new build. I have a master closet with 10 ft. ceilings. It is 10ft by 12ft. My problem is the 12 foot wall has a 6 ft. wide by 7 ft. tall window that faces the front of the house. I think it is necessary for the symmetry of the front of the house but it takes up a lot of space. I thought I could put a window seat with drawers there with 1 ft wide shoe racks on each side, but it still takes up a lot of space. Any ideas?
(The other window on the left is a 1 foot tall high window.)

Sliding door/ divider ideas
Comments (29)With a sliding door, you can have each side different to match the style of the room it faces. Here are some ideas that, believe it or not, are done with sharpies on flat surfaces. I can envision a "fireplace" on the lounge side. On the dining room side, you could do the "double door" look, by putting half on the door, and half on the wall next to the door. So when the door is closed, it looks like a pair of doors, but when the door is slid open it looks like only one door (but it's the wall!) I added the 3rd picture just because I think it's so cool. Comments (2)Hello Edel, Well you are in the fortunate place having a loo and shower downstairs.. I am sure this might become useful when the boys are older.. So if you wanted more wardrobe space.. This doesn't have to involve wall to wall cupboards.. You could have free standing wardrobes.. A bigger bathroom would mean you could have double wall hung sinks and large walk in shower and a separate bath.. Wall hung loo as well.. Or possibly you could create a wet room style shower and loo and separate walk in closet.. accessed from your bedroom. Keep a bathroom next door.. Hard to tell if any of these ideas could work without a plan.. : ))...See More
