Curtain colour & style advice

Hi,
I need advice on what curtains I should get for our windows.
I am thinking 1 curtain rail across the 2 windows with 1 pair of long eyelet curtains which will sit on the far left and far right of the 2 windows.
Thinking beige, grey full length. Any suggestions?
The 2 windows are quite close together.
